Calzaghe to consider options
JOE Calzaghe's father and trainer Enzo has warned anyone wanting to fight his son to make a big offer quickly or the Welsh fighter will hang up his gloves for good.
Calzaghe junior provided plenty of evidence on Saturday night that he can live up to his father's claim to be the best active pound-for-pound fighter in the world when he climbed off the canvas in the first round to dismantle ring legend Roy Jones Jr over 12 rounds, scoring a decisive, unanimous decision victory at Madison Square Garden.

Hughes jets out
MARK HUGHES flew to the Middle East overnight ready to meet City owner Sheikh Mansour.
The informal get-together had been planned for weeks and the Blues boss stressed that he was looking forward to the chance to talk football with the Abu Dhabi prince.
Hughes was philosophical about the hailstorm of bad news that accompanied him, not least three straight league defeats, stories that Jo had been in disciplinary trouble, Elano's public moaning about not being in the side and the inference that Jose Mourinho would take his job in the summer.

Tottenham 4-2 Liverpool
Carling Cup holders Tottenham strode into the quarter-finals with a clinical win over Liverpool in a thrilling tie.
Three goals in six first-half minutes put the hosts in control, Roman Pavlyuchenko drilling in the opener.
Fraizer Campbell then got his first goals in a Spurs shirt when he clipped home before heading in from 12 yards.
Damien Plessis and Sami Hyypia headed in replies for Liverpool after Heurelho Gomes errors, but Pavlyuchenko tapped in his second in between to wrap it up.
It was an excellent performance from a home side that have been rejuvenated almost beyond recognition under Harry Redknapp, and only three matches now stand between the north Londoners and a return to Wembley where they won the trophy last season.
